Conference Overview
In November 2026, the 21st ACM SIGGRAPH International Conference on Virtual Reality Continuum and its Applications (VRCAI2026) will take place just before SIGGRAPH Asia 2026 (17-20th, Dec) in Hangzhou, China.
Since its inception in Hangzhou, China in 1993, VRCAI has grown into a well-established international established conference with a strong emphasis on industrial relevance. The Virtual Reality Continuum (VRC) is expanding at an unprecedented pace, driven by substantial commercial investment and repaid technological innovations.
VRCAI aims to address the needs of the rapidly evolving field by fostering collaborations across the full continuum of next generation innovations, applications, and fundamental research. Encompassing Virtual Reality (VR), Augmented Virtuality (AV), to Augmented Reality (AR), Mixed Reality (MR) Virtual Storytelling, Virtual Production, and Extended Reality (XR), the VRC represents the diverse ways in which digital technologies are transforming and integrating with the physical world.
Sponsored by ACM SIGGRAPH, VRCAI 2026 provides a premier international forum for researchers and practitioners from academia and industry to present and exchange their latest results, applications, experiments, experiences and evaluations.
